We are a married gay couple. We have 2 Yorkshire terriers. René works in special education (students on the autistic spectrum), where our dogs are used as assistance dogs. René has been a Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau since 2020. I myself am retired. Previously worked in the healthcare sector. We have a personal website (hidden). Our favorite holiday destinations are Chiang Mai Thailand and Corfu Greece. Our last tenant is from Corfu and we met his family in Corfu. They're not just hosts, they're genuine friends who go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported. Living here, I've been treated to such kindness and hospitality. Whether it's running errands together, fixing up my bike, or simply sharing a meal, they've been incredibly generous with their time and resources. What's more, they've graciously given me access to the entire house, making me feel like a true member of the household. Their home is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the central station and a quick bike ride away from the city center. Plus, with the Radboud University and HAN within easy biking distance (approximately 15 min), it's been convenient for my studies as well. One of the highlights of my stay has been spending time in their lovely yard, especially on those rare sunny days. It's a tranquil oasis right in the heart of the city, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a leisurely chat over drinks. And let's not forget their adorable companions, Syro and Thisong! These two furry friends never fail to bring joy with their playful antics and affectionate cuddles. Overall, I couldn't have asked for better hosts or a more welcoming home. - Victor Agresti De Philippis (Italy): Frans and Rene are a fantastic couple who are always more than willing to help others. They treated me really well, they helped me with a lot of stuff like doing groceries or fixing my bike and I was always given what I needed. We respected each other's spaces, but we also enjoyed spending time together. They are really fun people to chat and have drinks with. Moreover, they have two beautiful and friendly dogs, Syro and Thisong, who love to be cuddled. The house is very well located. It’s a 10 minutes walk away from the central station and a 20 minutes walk or a 5 minutes bike ride away from the city centre. The Radboud University and HAN can be reached with a 12-15 minutes bike ride.
